Terms of Service

By accessing or using Lumnia, you agree to be bound by these Terms and any policies expressly incorporated into them.

If you use Lumnia on behalf of a Discord server, community, organization, or other entity, you represent that you have the authority necessary to use or configure the Service on its behalf.

Lumnia is a Discord moderation application designed to help authorized server moderators create and maintain warning records, review moderation case history, and deliver moderation logs.

Features may change as Lumnia is developed. Certain features may be experimental, limited, modified, or removed without guaranteeing continued availability.

You may use Lumnia only if you are permitted to use Discord and the Service under applicable law and the rules that apply to your Discord account.

Your use of Discord remains governed by Discord's own terms, policies, and community rules. Lumnia does not replace or modify your obligations to Discord.

You must have appropriate authority within a Discord server before installing, authorizing, or configuring Lumnia for that server.

Server administrators are responsible for deciding which permissions are granted to Lumnia and which members are permitted to use moderation functionality.

You must not attempt to obtain permissions for Lumnia through deception, unauthorized access, compromised accounts, or other improper means.

You agree not to use Lumnia to:

• violate applicable law, regulation, or Discord policy;
• harass, threaten, exploit, defraud, or unlawfully target another person;
• submit unlawful content or content you do not have the right to process through the Service;
• probe, attack, disrupt, overload, or interfere with Lumnia or its infrastructure;
• circumvent authorization, permission, rate-limit, security, or access-control mechanisms;
• use automated systems to abuse or intentionally degrade the Service;
• impersonate Lumnia, its operator, or another person in a misleading or fraudulent manner.

Security research must not involve destructive testing, unauthorized access, disclosure of private information, or disruption of the Service.

Lumnia provides tools to assist Discord server moderation. It does not independently determine a server's rules or whether a moderation decision is fair, appropriate, or lawful.

Server owners, administrators, and moderators remain responsible for their communities, moderation policies, moderation decisions, configuration choices, and use of information recorded through Lumnia.

A moderation record created through Lumnia reflects information submitted or generated through the applicable moderation workflow. The existence of a record does not constitute an independent finding or endorsement by Lumnia.

Authorized users may submit information to Lumnia, including moderation reasons and related case information. You are responsible for information you submit through the Service.

You must not intentionally place passwords, access tokens, payment information, government identification numbers, or other unnecessary highly sensitive information into moderation reasons or other free-text fields.

You grant Lumnia permission to process submitted information as reasonably necessary to operate, maintain, secure, and provide the Service.

Lumnia processes limited information required to provide its moderation functionality. Depending on the feature, this may include Discord server, user, channel, message, and interaction identifiers; moderation case data; moderation reasons; timestamps; server configuration; and moderation-log delivery state.

Lumnia is designed with durability and reliable moderation-log delivery in mind. However, no online service can guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free behavior, or permanent preservation of all information.

Service interruptions may occur because of maintenance, software defects, infrastructure failures, Discord API availability, network conditions, security incidents, or circumstances outside Lumnia's reasonable control.

Certain delivery operations may use retry mechanisms. In uncommon failure scenarios, retries may result in duplicate moderation-log messages.

Lumnia may add, modify, restrict, suspend, or remove features as the Service evolves.

We do not guarantee that a particular command, feature, integration, interface, or behavior will remain available indefinitely.

Access to Lumnia may be restricted or terminated where reasonably necessary to protect the Service, its users, third parties, or infrastructure; respond to legal requirements; investigate abuse; or enforce these Terms.

Server administrators may stop using Lumnia by removing the application from their Discord server.

Removal of Lumnia does not necessarily result in immediate deletion of all associated information. Applicable retention practices are described in the Privacy Policy.

Lumnia, including its branding, original software, website design, documentation, graphics, and other original materials, is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

These Terms do not grant you ownership of Lumnia or a right to use Lumnia's branding in a way that falsely suggests endorsement, partnership, or official affiliation.

Lumnia operates in connection with Discord and may rely on other infrastructure or service providers. Third-party products and services are governed by their respective terms and policies.

Lumnia is not responsible for outages, changes, restrictions, actions, or failures of third-party services that are outside Lumnia's reasonable control.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, Lumnia is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Discord.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

No guarantee is made that Lumnia will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or suitable for every moderation workflow or legal requirement.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Lumnia's operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or relating to use of, or inability to use, the Service.

This includes, where legally permitted, losses resulting from service interruptions, moderation decisions, unauthorized server use, lost records, third-party services, or reliance on information presented through Lumnia.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations or exclusions of liability. Where those rules apply, these limitations apply only to the extent legally permitted.

These Terms may be updated as Lumnia changes or as operational, security, legal, or regulatory requirements evolve.

When the Terms are updated, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be revised. Where appropriate, additional notice may be provided.

Continued use of Lumnia after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
